It comes with a brushless motor, Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) as well as Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT). This improves safety and efficiency when this angle grinder is in operation.
Sold as body only, this angle grinder is supplied without batteries, charger or grinding disc. Being part of the Makita Twin 18 Volt LXT range, this tool fits in with your current Makita 18 volt kit and runs off two BL1830, BL1840, BL1850 or BL1860 lithium-ion batteries.
